About Me
Hey there, I’m Kaylee!
Most days you can find me chasing around my four kiddos, homeschooling, talking about birth or theology, exploring the great outdoors in my beautiful state of Montana, laughing with my husband, making new friends, or reading my Bible.
I am mostly known for my big smile and for finding joy in the little things. I love serving the world by loving and encouraging others.
The thing I am most passionate about in life is following Jesus & sharing about how awesome He is!
I serve mamas throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum by providing them with the support they need in many ways: physical, mental, emotional, informational, and spiritual. I am blessed to come alongside moms to remind them that God has intelligently designed their bodies and that they can trust in the One who knows the number of hairs on their head and knows all the days of their lives. Even if things don’t go as we hope or plan for in birth, we can fully trust that God is sovereign over all the details and that He works out everything for the good of those who love Him (Rom. 8:28).
I also have the privilege of helping guide fathers in the ways they can best help support mothers during this time. It is never the intention of a doula to replace the father, but rather help provide them with the confidence and tools to support the mother, while the doula, who is specifically trained in many different areas, can focus on supporting the mother in a variety of other ways.

My passion for helping women have empowering birth experiences was born at the same time my oldest came into the world. I have had many different birth experiences myself:
An induced hospital birth where I didn’t feel advocated for and experienced trauma from
A water birth at a birth center where I felt so respected and loved
A twin birth on an operating table in the OR at a hospital where I also felt respected and loved
I strongly believe any woman can have an empowering birth experience, no matter where or how her baby/ies are brought into this world. I am the biggest advocate for teaching others about informed consent and how to respectfully communicate birth wishes to other birth workers. While I of course believe what matters most is a healthy baby and mama, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY believe that a mother’s mental health/birth experience is just as much of a factor in that as her physical health. How you are made to feel during your birth, regardless of the circumstances or outcomes, deeply matters & plays a pivotal part in how you experience birth. So whether you’re a first time mom or a mom to many, I would love to partner with you and your family to help support you in this incredible time in your life!
What People Are Saying
“Kaylee understood my fears, and I had many. She brought so many cards to the table; she asked me what did and didn't help in previous labors and in general, offered aromatherapy support and when the day came she offered even more.
From the moment she arrived there was equal parts calm and excitement that spread throughout our home. She scooped up my toddler and whispered sweet words to her before handing her off to my mother. We laughed together as I peed my pants and chatted during the breaks between each moderate contraction. When the hard ones came, she tied my hair up, offered me water, applied counter pressure, she reassured me that each moment was bringing me closer to meeting our baby.
In my previous births I had always thought that my husband was enough support and that he could handle it, but upon reflection I realized that if I wanted him to truly be able to focus on me front and center that I needed someone else to focus on the other aspects that a birth could bring…having a doula greatly increased my feeling of safety…I think that Kaylee's calm demeanor and compassion make her the best addition to any birth team and hope to utilize her again someday!”

“Kaylee was worth every penny & more. I went in desiring a doula for my first birth yet fully expecting to be fine without one for any births afterwards…but we are now SOLD on the immeasurable value they provide for every future birth after our experience with Kaylee.
We found so much value in the education Kaylee provided and the structure & advice in planning for our home birth and postpartum period. She was also a faithful prayer warrior on our behalf throughout pregnancy!
Kaylee braved a wild winter storm to be with us at our home birth in Livingston. During the 13+ hours she was here, she didn’t take many breaks (and when she did they were short and I absolutely noticed a HUGE difference in the intensity of my contractions). Kaylee gave me counter-pressure and hip squeezes during every contraction - and I was humbled how much I needed that, especially during transition and pushing. She honored my birth plan and took some of my favorite videos and photos during and after birth, as requested. Shortly after giving birth, she brought me food and fed me as I held my baby.
Kaylee brought enthusiasm to every meeting. Her gentle, peaceful presence was exactly the energy I needed in my birth space.
Just because birth is natural, doesn’t mean it’s easy. Just because you have a supportive husband, doesn’t mean you don’t need a doula. I had a total of 6 people present at my birth. Towards the end, it was all hands on deck. I needed what each person uniquely brought to the table. Kaylee provided physical comfort measures so my husband could fully focus on being my emotional & spiritual support.
Thank you, Kaylee. I don’t know how I would have gotten through a 32+ hour unmedicated labor/birth and long transition without you!”
